JenniferJ. Hostetter is an associate attorney at Broyles Kight & Ricafort, P.C. She joined the BKR family in 2016 and practices in the area of family law, assisted reproduction, and criminal defense. She is also a registered domestic relations mediator, parenting coordinator, and Guardian ad Litem.
Jennifer attended Adrian College where she received her B.A. in Business Marketing, as well as attended Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana.
Her first experience in family law was as a registered mediator in the Viola J. Taliaferro Family and Children Mediation Clinic while in law school. She was also a certified legal intern at the Community Legal Clinic, which serves as a pro bono family law clinic for Monroe County.
Jennifer is licensed to practice in Indiana and California. She obtained her California license to help her clients create their own families. Oftentimes, people utilizing assisted reproduction technologies want California law to control the legal aspects of their surrogacy or donor agreement. Jennifer has the ability to assist her Indiana clients who want California law to control their contracts.
Jennifer is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, Hamilton County Bar Association, Boone County Bar Association, California State Bar Association, and American Bar Association. She has served as the President (2018-2019), Vice President (2017-2018), and Secretary/Treasurer of the Boone County Bar Association. Within the American Bar Association, she is a member of the family law group, the assisted reproduction committee, and the health and wellness committee. She has served as the Co-Chair of the ABA Marital Property Committee and currently is the Co-Chair of the health and wellness committee.
Jennifer has served on the board of the Zionsville Education Foundation and currently serves on the board of the Boone County Community Corrections Board. She is also a Task Force Member for Judge David’s annual community in-service.
