Indianapolis family law attorney Laura Lauth is the newest member of the Family Law Group. She began her work at Broyles Kight & Ricafort as a  Law Clerk immediately following her graduation from law school in May, and was admitted to the Indiana Bar in October 2013. Laura is gaining experience   in all facets of family law, including dissolutions, marital estate divisions, child support matters, and adoptions.

Laura first began working with Family Law issues while still a student at the University of Miami School of Law. As a third-year student, Laura volunteered for her school’s Children & Youth Law Clinic, which operates as an in-house, public interest law firm operating out of the law school. The Clinic represents children in foster care and former foster youth in dependency, health care, mental health, disability, independent living, education, immigration and other general civil legal matters, ensuring that they have a voice in court proceedings.

Laura currently volunteers at various organizations through Chicago Cares.  Laura’s other volunteer experiences include the Indiana University Dance Marathon, which benefits the Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. While an undergraduate student at IU, she was recognized as the third highest overall fundraiser.

Laura also has been trained as a Guardian ad Litem and is eager to begin taking on cases in which she advocates for the best interests of children in matters of child custody and child support.
